Kelsey & Brian’s ‘New Year’s in July’: Celebrating Love During a Pandemic

As a wedding planner, I have witnessed many love stories that are both unique and powerful. But none quite compare to what I was blessed to see with Kelsey and Brian’s New Year’s in July wedding.

Kelsey and Brian had originally planned to wed on December 31, 2021 before everything changed with the pandemic. Although they were still able to have a small church ceremony with family present on their original date, they knew they had to postpone the bigger celebration until it was safe.

Despite all the uncertainty, Kelsey and Brian managed to plan an amazing celebration that was true to their vision. They chose July 31st , 2022 for their reception and we were able to keep all of their previous planning intact - including the same venue & decorations with all the people they couldn't have attend the original date!

The talented vendors behind this special day included Rita Rose Creative Event Design for planning; White Pie Pizzeria for catering; Rouxby Photo for photos; Get Down Co for DJ services; Beet & Arrow for florals; and Beauty On Location Studio for hair & makeup services. With everyone coming together following safety protocols, it was truly breathtaking seeing how much love there was throughout the entire event!

Kelsey & Brian’s 'New Year's in July' taught me so much about resilience during challenging times – most importantly that love really can conquer all. It was a humbling reminder that even amidst COVID-19 restrictions we can still find joy and make wonderful memories with those closest to us.
